Open Enrollment for employee benefits begins October 4 and ends October 28, 2016. During Open Enrollment, ALL BENEFITS-ELIGIBLE EMPLOYEES MUST TAKE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS:
· Reconfirm current elections (even if you only elect the board sponsored life insurance/dental/vision)
· Elect benefits or Make changes (add or delete dependents, update beneficiary information, etc.)
· Waive Coverage
Employee Self Service (ESS) will be used for the 2017 enrollment process. Benefit choices made during Open Enrollment are effective January 1, 2017. Please make sure that you are able to log on to ESS PRIOR to the start of Open Enrollment. ESS will not be available for benefits review (if newly hired) or enrollment until October 4, 2016. Current CCS Employees - Verify Payroll Deductions for Benefits
All employees should verify that their benefit elections are correct on Employee Self Service. You should verify deductions coming out of your pay check by reviewing your pay statement. You can verify your benefit elections by clicking the word Benefits on the left hand side of the page in Employee Self Service as well as verify which dependents are on your plans by hovering your mouse over the word details next to your bi-weekly contribution rate.
