Board Approves Amended Grading Policy
At their regular meeting on April 21, 2015, the Columbus Board of Education approved a new grading policy for District middle and high school students. The policy is designed  to help students achieve academic mastery as defined by local, state and national standards. You can read the policy HERE.

Kudos to some very innovative fifth-graders from Livingston, Shady Lane, and Maize Elementary Schools who recently took part in the Inaugural Metro Parks Design Challenge.
Kindergarten and First Grade Early Entrance Testing Begins June 1
Columbus City Schools Kindergarten and First Grade Early Entrance testing will be held beginning June 1 through June 12, 2015. Academic acceleration into Kindergarten is for advanced learners whose birth dates fall after September 30, 2010.
